Nick Augenbaum DDS, FICOI, AFAAID

Dr. Nick is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He attended Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine, followed by a one year general practice residency at New York Hospital of Queens and an additional two-year advanced surgical and prosthodontics program at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center.

 

Education:

Oral Implantology and Implant Prosthodontics Fellow -Department of Dental & Oral Surgery, Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center

  • Two year, full time program recognized by the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID)
  • Prosthetic training related to restoring single and multiple units, overdentures, full mouth fixed or hybrid prosthesis
  • Surgical training related to implant dentistry: Sinus lifts, Block grafts, Guided Bone Regeneration, Socket preservation, Alveolplasty, Connective tissue grafts, PRP
  • Trained Junior Fellow and post-graduate year-1 residents in placing and restoring in multiple implant systems
  • Lectured weekly to Oral Surgery and General practice residents on restorative and surgical implant topics

  • Extensive training in Operative, prosthetic, Endodontic, and Pediatric dentistry
  • Extensive training in dentoalveolar surgery, simple and surgical extractions, periodontal surgery and closed reductions of maxillary and mandibular fractures.
